Milwaukee Zoo Posters

The objective of this project was to design captivating posters for the Milwaukee Zoo. These eye-catching posters specifically target Generation Alpha, aiming to convey how this demographic currently interacts with zoo animals. In essence, the posters will represent the focal demographic for this project.
Photo collection
First off, I went to the Milwaukee Zoo and took some photos of the animal exhibits. As you can see by below.
Brainstorm
Following the photo-taking process, I delved into sketching and brainstorming sessions to envision the visual aesthetics of the posters. During this creative phase, I also strategized which specific photos would be most fitting for each individual poster.
Logo
Next, I found the Milwaukee logo and image traced it to create the logo in higher quality.
Final
Afterwards I began to draw each poster, using hand render type for the top tagline. The first poster I made is in the middle; the second poster is on the right and the last poster is on the left. I had a lot of fun trying to capture this dreamy childlike art style, mixing it in with photography I took of the zoo animals. This was an opportunity for new experimentation, and it was really a lot of fun. Lastly, below are the mockups.
